Our methodology

Public registers

We check that the business exists in public registers, such as the commercial register. For regulated professions, we check the relevant registers: health professions, lawyers, insurance intermediaries (FINMA).

Contact details

Address, phone and website are checked before publication.

Languages

A language appears on a listing only if the business declares it. We confirm it with them and never infer it from a name or a website.

No invented reviews

We do not generate, buy or copy any review or rating. If we ever show reviews, they will come from identified customers.

Display order

Featured listings appear first and carry the label “Featured”. The rest follow in alphabetical order.

Corrections

Spotted a mistake? Write to hello@bestin.ch. We correct or remove a listing on a single message.

Updates

Guides are reviewed regularly. The date of the last update appears on each page.
